CHORALE EVENT TO CELEBRATE TRANSFORMATION OF
NURSING HOME CARE
St. John’s Foundation and its member faith based communities, partnering with Thrivent Financial, will host a musical event on Sunday, November 7 at Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 111 North Chestnut Street, Rochester, beginning at 4:00 pm. Featured performances include renowned tenor soloist, Pablo Bustos, Clara Nieman, mezzo soprano, and selections from local congregations. Admission and parking are free of charge.
Entitled By God’s Grace, the event is a celebration of the transformation of nursing home care through the Green House® Project. In partnership with the New York State Department of Health, St. John's will be the first in the nation to bring elders back to their hometowns, to live in ranch-style homes, throughout the greater Rochester community.
For more information on the event, call Diane VanAuken at 797-5151.
St. John’s Foundation develops financial resources for the entire family of St. John's, including St. John’s Home, Rochester’s only Eden Alternative nursing home, and St. John’s Meadows, independent and assisted senior living. When appropriate, the Foundation supports other health-related programs for the aging in the Rochester area.
